HORSE FIRST AID
**Sunday, October 21 (9:30-11:30am Registration Deadline: 10/19)**
Designed for anyone that works with horses including owners, instructors, students or staff. Good for first timers or as a refresher course! Learn how to detect if something is wrong with a horse and what to do and how to do it. $20 per person.

ROUND PEN & CAVALETTI TRAINING**Sunday, November 11 (2 hours per group: 20
minute round pen session per person and one hour group lesson- 3 riders per group. May use your own horse or one of ours. Registration deadline: 11/4)**Learn the art of training horses with cavaletti. Participants will work their horses in the round pen and then do a riding portion in main ring. Learn techniques that will encourage and enable the horse to engage the hindquarters, lift his back and soften and relax the frame. (Skills required: Trotting). $45 per person.
INTRODUCTION TO FOXHUNTING**Late October or November-Dates TBA: 2
parts**Designed to introduce participants to the sport of foxhunting. Part I: Tour the kennels, meet the hounds and speak to the Master of the Hunt. Part II: Field Ride: A Mock fox hunt! (Skills required: trot and canter comfortably outside the ring). If interested please email or call so we can keep you up to date!
CROSS COUNTRY JUMPING & GYMNASTICS**Sunday, November 25 (1 ½ hours per
group- 3 riders per group. Registration deadline: 11/18)** Designed for elementary level horses and riders that need skill building and confidence riding outside the ring. Depending on experience, emphasis will be on control of the horse at different gaits, how to negotiate simple fences and riding up and down hills. (Skills required: minimum of a solid posting and two point trot along with jumping/cavaletti/canter understanding or basics). $35 per rider.
